How it works
- Answer the questions. Where you work, whether you're 65 or older, whether you support a spouse or children, and a few more. Each takes a tap.
- Check your amounts. The tool fills every line of both forms and flags anything you should double-check, such as caregiver amounts that need a worksheet.
- Sign and save. Draw your signature once. You get the official CRA PDFs, filled and signed, plus a ready-to-send email with the forms attached.
Frequently asked questions
What is a TD1 form?
The TD1, Personal Tax Credits Return, tells your employer which tax credits you're claiming, so they deduct the right amount of income tax from each pay. There's a federal TD1 and a provincial or territorial TD1 for where you work.
Do I need both the federal and provincial TD1?
Usually, yes. The CRA says to fill out the provincial or territorial form if your federal total claim is more than $16,452. If you don't, your employer deducts provincial tax using only the provincial basic personal amount.
Is this the real CRA form?
Yes. Easy TD1 writes your answers into the CRA's own 2026 fillable PDFs and adds your signature on the certification line. Your employer receives the same official form they would get from canada.ca.
Is it safe to enter my SIN?
The forms are filled inside your browser. Your SIN and other details are never uploaded, sent or stored by this site. Close the tab and they're gone.
How much does it cost?
It's free. If it saves you time you can leave an optional tip.
